When launched after the first set of six spikes have given way to the second set of fourteen spikes, Evolution''s speed increases remarkably, becoming as fast or even faster than Xtreme, due to the now increased surface area and diameter. Furthermore, most Attack Type Combinations benefit from a shorter height as a taller height creates a Destabilization risk instead. Due to how tall the first six teeth are and the somewhat brittle nature of the rubber in the Takara Tomy release, the first set of teeth will break off relatively quickly. While Evolution''s taller height would, in theory, increase the rate of Disc-to-Layer contact and Burst the opponent, due to the height of most Layers and the minimal difference in height, such contact is rare. When launched in mint condition the first set of six spikes will create a mildly aggressive pattern at speeds akin to Blow, albeit without the Stamina due to the greater friction the rubber has. The spikes are meant to wear down and break off with use so, unlike most other rubber tips and like its predecessor Variable, Evolution' will become more aggressive instead of less aggressive over time. Even in deck format where the opponent's beys are known, sometimes the opponent will change their beys to be a matchup that is not ideal for you, and you will not have an opportunity to change your own bey after their change is made.īy all means continue to test opposite spin combinations.Evolution' features a rubber tip, made up of two sets of rubber spikes, that begins at a taller than average height. Most of the time, they and their opponent are selecting their beys in secret. Tournament players often do not have a choice of whether or not to use an attack type against an opposite spin bey. With sufficient force, you can KO even an opposite spin bey. I think no tournament player would ever use an attack type versus an opposite spin stamina beyblade.Your opinion is noted but it does not match with reality. 06, 2020 10:47 AM)Me-has-Bro Wrote: In my opinion it does not make sense to test an attacking layer like BVl on a rubber driver like Quick' versus left spinning chips like Fafnir or Bahamut.Īttack beys dont work in opposite spin imho. They need knockback and recoil which both is not given in opposite matchups. Judgement tends to not do well on drivers like that and work best on rubber attack drivers or Destroy’. I’ll be doing some testing in a bit for that to see how well it does, but I expect it to probably be able to do well. I think Brave on 2A could do very well on a high stamina driver, maybe something like Xtend+. I think Brave has one thing that Judgement doesn’t have, and that is more balanced weight distribution. Judgement is basically the best right-spin attack layer every, so I don’t think it’s that damning of a thing if Brave isn’t as good. Too many people are writing it off because it’s not as good as Judgement. See why I told you pump the breaks when you were going crazy about it bursting pP on Ig’?īrave might not be the best attack layer but it’s not bad at all. 05, 2020 10:24 PM)g2_ Wrote: Brave Valkyrie Quick' 2A vs Master Bahamut Sting Atomic
